BOUTIQUE builder Residential Attitudes aims to shake up the traditional and provide a customised service for those who dare to be different.

With the motto 'Andy Warhol challenged the status quo, so should you.' general manager David Hochwald-Jones said the business allowed people to express individuality through their home's design.

“Since I have a background as a licensed builder, I think it is important to actually understand the build itself and offer a client peace of mind knowing that their project will meet their original vision,” he said.

Mr Hochwald-Jones said that many people were moving away from traditional expectations of a rambling quarter acre property.

“People are realising that bigger does not always equate to better,” he said.

“Multifunctional living and maximising the use of space with clever innovations is the way forward.

“Infill and higher density options need to be the focus as Perth's population grows - existing infrastructure simply cannot support more sprawl.”

Specialising in contemporary homes priced from $600,000 to $2 million, Mr Hochwald-Jones said he catered for the luxury home market, with a focus on building in prime riverside suburbs and the extensive coastal strip from Cottesloe to Hillarys.

“Our range of buyers runs from mining execs and professionals to self-made business owners,” he said.

“Many of them aspire to express their success through where and how they live - our clients ages range from 25 to 75, but all of them share a definite sense of style.

“We always look to push design boundaries and offer quality over quantity - smaller difficult blocks are our specialty as we aim to maximise the Perth lifestyle and provide a seamless link between indoor and outdoor living.”
