ANOTHER sell out crowd is expected to greet the West Coast Fever at Challenge Stadium on Monday night as the curtain comes down on an unforgettable Trans Tasman netball season for the WA team.
West Coast Fever hosts the Queensland Firebirds and although out of finals contention, the WA team can secure sixth spot on the ANZ Championship ladder with a win.
Coach Jane Seale is confident her team can finish the season off on a winning note.
“There is still a lot riding on this last match so we can’t relax yet,” she said.
“We only narrowly missed out in our last clash against the Firebirds in a game that we never should have lost, so this week we are looking to right that wrong.
“The team has had a fantastic season and the support from the WA public has been incredible. With this being the last game of the season we need to make it one that the fans won’t forget so they keep coming back for more next season.”
The Firebirds must win the match to remain in contention for a finals berth.
The match starts at 6pm.
