PEAK-hour traffic stalled on James Street in Guildford when a local charity courier and a sedan collided about 8.30am on Thursday.
Firefighters were called to help free a female driver from her car, which straddled three lanes of traffic near Wellman Street after the accident.
She was treated for suspected spinal injuries at the scene and taken to hospital.
The courier driver was uninjured.
