JUGGLING the responsibility of taking young twins shopping inspired a Caversham resident to make the task easier for mums.
When she became a mum, Kate Borg realised shopping was not necessarily a simple task when children were involved.
Drawing on this experience, she decided to open her own online retail store Shop for Tots, specialising in children’s products.
“It offers mums the convenience of browsing online and in your own time at a quality site,” she said.
“It good to know you are also buying from an online store that is based just down the road.”
The website features a range of products such as clothes, toys, puzzles and baby gear for newborn babies up to four-year- olds.
“We are extending our range to include books and downloadable resources for parents,” Mrs Borg said.
“We also support Australian designers, with about 80 per cent of our products designed in Australia.”
Mrs Borg said eastern states customers had accessed the store but was hopeful more local clients would discover the site.
