It is time for WA to go it alone

I USED to be a proud Australian but not any longer, in fact I don’t even class myself as an Australian any more, instead only Western Australian.

The time has come for WA to pull out of the Federation and become a self-governed country with our own Prime Minister.

This way we would get to scrap federal laws and constitution and have our own constitution and laws and keep our taxes here, including road tax and GST and carbon tax.

We could have our own immigration policy, close of our borders to the east and stop people there from coming here and taking our jobs and stop our wealth from being taken out of our State and going east (especially during a Federal election year).

Let’s begin by next year scrapping Australia Day for Western Australian Day and send a strong message to Canberra that we have had enough and we don’t need or want them.

Many years ago in Social Studies at school, I was taught that in the 1830s there was just:
(a) New South Wales (now split into Northern Territory, Queensland, NSW, ACT, Victoria, SA, Tasmania and New Zealand),
and
(b) Western Australia.

Pity it didn't stay that way.

Much as the basic idea seems good, it will never happen...we just do noty have enough people...
What is needed is to develop the hinterland...with a water pipeline from the north and make every new immigrant do country time...to help the development...to NOT be allowed to congregate in the cities...And if the 'boat people' knew this, it might slow them down...Genuine ones will invite the challenge.

Just charge the miners 100% to pay for the states's mining royalties leaving zilch for the Federal Govenment to collect in the name of MRRT. After all they have short-changed us in the GST distribution.

WA voted unamously to cecede the year I was born in 1933 and guess what, it was knocked back by the Government of the day! They must have known our vast mineral resourses would be handy one day; as Julius said, its much too late now.

Because we are Australians, we believe in a free democratic way of life. As a proud Australian I tolerate even the IDIOTS of this peaceful country.

I'm sure we'd still find a way to screw it up.

Sorry David it would never happen
I have for many years also wanted to susseed from the rest of Australia but as Max Trenorden explained to me many years ago , For that to ever happen the other states would have to agree to the separation and as we are the powerhouse of Aust that would NEVER happen so guess what we are Stuck with them ! I have noticed though on a recent trip to Perth that the White folk are going the way of the Born Aboriginal folk , We also are becoming a Minority in our own country .We need to CLOSE OUR BORDERS to all.

STOP ANY FORMS OF IMMIGRATION INTO WA until we can feed, have sufficient power , education, Nurses, Doctors affordable Housing, and Water that does not depend on Desalination as it shows that our local GOVERNMENT is a failure if it cannot at least supply those needs, and more lacking for those it is responsible for a NON Violent DUTY of care.

Don't just stop at the WA border David.

Why don't we have a Pilbara Nation? Scrap the Federal laws AND the State laws. Deal direct with China and India and stop handing over most of the New Nation's wealth to those free-loaders South of the Tropic of Capricorn.
